“Tis the mind that makes the body rich.”

Mind is like a huge Ocean – sometimes making rippling sounds while sometimes engrossed within itself, sometimes becomes violent while sometimes calm giving cold breeze which makes the surrounding worth living. It is one of the most complex behaviors that human being has which makes it peculiar amongst all other living creatures on Earth.

The picture of this planet today we have is nothing but the Pandora of games of millions of minds. Right from the dawn of civilization till today, it is only ‘the mind‘ which influences livings as well as non livings on the Earth. Ideologies of great people like Rousseau, Mao, Adam Smith, etc divided the world within them, nurtured their ideas among common people. Their philosophical approach has changed People’s perception. As every divided kingdom falls, so every mind divided between many studies confounds and saps itself and left their traces in the society. While on other hand it is only the mind of great scientists made our lives comfortable. The eager to know the unexplored, unseen, unresolved is only the mind. Right from understanding various galaxies to the discovery of nano-particles, it is nothing but the games of complex neurons playing in the brain. Everything tends to make us believe that there exists a certain point of the mind at which life and death, the real and the imagined, past and future, the communicable and the incommunicable, high and low, cease to be perceived as contradictions.

But nowadays, the scenario is changing. It is becoming more and more fanatic, fundamentalist in its approach rather than being radical. People have started following blindly rather than understanding their own real quintessence. There is a terrific growth of fear, hatred for each other nowadays which was earlier being filled with love and humble. The bonding is getting weak day by day. The vacuum which is created in the society is only the manifestation of minds of people what they think of. What you think about reveals what you are. The prime reason for ever growing discontent among communities is the way of thinking of those communities. The regressive, introvert thinking has impoverished the human civilization on this planet. It leads them to fight among their own species. Similarly at personal perspective, to match the pace with the technological era, man has forgotten their own selves. The goals are set – some wants to get a dream home, some job, some wants to get married while some to reach the stars. And while achieving these goals, one forgets that they haven’t counsel their own inner minds what they really want. And this led to increasing inner dissatisfaction which creeps away the man internally. In this day and age the brain is the only part of the human machine that doesn’t wear out. Probably it’s because the brain is the only part that is not overworked. Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigors of the mind and ultimately it vanished.

Our mind is like a kaleidoscope with many colors varying within themselves. It won’t show the magic of colors unless it is being viewed in different angles. One has to revisit and reassess the inner thought process with different angles to see the magic of mind. Know yourself; enjoy the beauty of this wonderful creature which God has created. Instead of fighting over ideologies created by the gone people, analyze by yourself own and live harmoniously. Give time to your inner mind to contribute in the way of your living. The unsolved queries will be solved indirectly once you allow your mind to think in an appropriate way. Because what you THINK about reveals what you ARE. Live & let live. Enjoy & let enjoy.

“The empires of the futures are the empires of the mind.”

                                                    – Winston Churchill

  1. Superb analysis of human mind… But I really think that as like human body is not 100% healthy of any person, the same can be apply for human mind also.. And we blame the person for their actions but we never do a rational thinking for his actions .. May its actions because of his or her mental illnesses.. May be he or she can not respond rationally to the situation.. Human mind is very complicated.. And I think we know only one percent of it.. I think most of the problems in the society come from irrational thinking of human being… As we care for our physical health.. Are we really care for our mental health too?? If not then is really our mind is hundred percent healthy? Then it means we don’t have to get anxious or depressed at any situation..but its not happening in or life… We are ignoring our mental health… And we blame others for our problem.. And this causes war, crime in the society.. As we do physical exercise to keep ourself fit and healthy.. Can’t we do the exercise for our mental health too?? To keep us happy.. To help us to think rationally.. I think we can’t have inner peace until we are a mentally healthy.. And as Buddha said whatever you are thinking that is you are.. So as a physical health We should give same importance to our mental health otherwise we can’t reach to the level of self actualization.. We can’t find a happiness in small things..We can not find a purpose of our life..

    1. Thanks Amol for your analysis..And I do agree with you that inner peace is the essence of good life which can be achieved by keeping our minds fit and healthy as well as having a rational approach.. 🙂
